I informed him about my sleeping problems, but he only said to take my flomax one in the morning and one in the evening. It has not helped. I am sorely sleep deprived. I ask, what can I do??

Cancer is an ugly disease. Dr Lance is compassionate, understanding and very thorough. I left his office with all the information I requested as Dr. Lance took the time to explain all my options and explained everything in a way that I could understand. Glad he's my doctor.

Dr. Deters was everything one looks for in a Doctor. He was personable, friendly, conversational and yet professional in his evaluation and discussion. He gave the pros and cons of each option we discussed. In sum, an excellent impression and I look forward to a continued patient/doctor relationship.

I enjoyed and appreciated my visit with Dr. Lance. He was attentive, informative and answered my questions. He seems genuinely interested in me with a comforting chair-side manor. The office was very busy. I was seen approx. 35 minutes after my appointment time which is not a major issue, and I did feel a minor sense of urgency to complete the visit. In the future I will need to write my questions down ahead of time to help the appointment move more smoothly for Dr. Lance. I felt a little bit of trepidation to discuss all of my personal questions with the young lady present. But I understand the necessity of an assistant and note taker.

In November of 2019 my PSA blood score was up and I was referred to Dr. Shane Pearce at Spokane Urology. My 1st appointment he suggested I get a biopsy which I did and it came back positive for cancer. Working with Dr. Pearce and his staff I went through a battery of tests to see if the cancer had spread to any other locations in my body. It had not spread so with more consultations with Dr. Pearce we discussed all the options available. We decided to do a prostatectomy and we were able to schedule it at the end of February just a couple weeks before the hospitals shut down because of COVID-19. The surgery went well and I was out of the hospital the next day. I did need to have the catheter in a little longer than expected but other than that I have fully recovered. I live a very active life and was a little worried about having to deal with urinary pads. After a couple months since my surgery I would say that there are times in my life that I forgot I even had this procedure. I am back running, golfing, climbing, biking, camping and looking forward to hopefully skiing this winter if the resorts are able to re-open. I highly recommend Spokane Urology with Dr. Pearce and his staff.
