Urology Residency 2009-2013 Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, Lebanon, NH


  • Four year training program consisting of general urology training with subspecialty exposure including urologic oncology, female urology, pediatric urology, and renal transplantation
  • Training in operative techniques including conventional laparoscopy, robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery, endoscopic and percutaneous stone procedures, as well as transurethral procedures

  • Preceptorship in robotic surgery at Ohio State University Medical Center, 2012
  • Preceptorship in female urology and voiding dysfunction by SUFU, 2010

Educational Appointments

Dr. Deters was a clinical instructor at Dartmouth Medical School, and currently holds faculty appointments at University of Washington School of Medicine, as well as Washington State University. He instructs students in the clinical setting, and is helping design the curriculum for the new medical school coming to Spokane in 2017.
Instructor at Dartmouth Medical School with the Scientific Basis of Medicine Program for thehe genitourinary teaching modules 2010-2012.


Board Certified by the American Board of Urology, also holds a Washington State Medical License
