Dr. Trisha Kruger was born in Elmira, New York. Her family moved west to Washington State during high school. After completing undergraduate work at Walla Walla University, she attended Loma Linda University school of medicine in Southern California and obtained her M.D. in 2004. Residency took her back east to Hershey, Pennsylvania where she completed her urological training at Penn State in 2010. She and her husband were happy to return to the Pacific Northwest in 2010 when she began her practice with Spokane Urology. She was certified in 2012 by the American Board of urology.
Dr. Kruger offers general urological care including stone disease, urological cancers (Bladder, ureteral, kidney, prostate, testis), incontinence, and ED. A special interest is the management and prevention of urinary tract stones. She offers the whole spectrum of treatment with the use of ureteroscopy and laser lithotripsy, extracorporeal shockwave lithotripsy (ESWL), and percutaneous management for larger, more complex stones. Dr. Kruger makes it a practice to pursue further evaluation into the cause of the stone formation and how to prevent it. She also works with some of the GI doctors in town and offers ESWL for certain pancreatic stones.
Dr. Kruger believes that patient education is important and strives to have open communication about treatment options and preventions of urological issues with all of her patients.
Outside of work, Dr. Kruger enjoys spending time with her husband and two children at home and in the outdoors.
